I enjoyed the narrators for this book, they captured the essence of each character perfectly.

I knocked a star off because it was advertised as obsessed MMC but he receives head from another woman and pretends it's the FMC. I know it's irrational but it's just my opinion lol. still a good story and I did enjoy it

Lilian Harris is a new author to me and I have now listened to a few of her books. I like the plots, especially the books that have been adapted into audio as a 'Duet'. The one thing that is putting me off her writing and listening to in audio is the consistent inner monologue from the characters that sometimes goes on and on and keeps repeating.

I feel, especially listening in duet that the inner monologue could be cut down. I realise some of it is necessary, ie: thinking about their past etc which is required in the story. However when it goes on and on about what the character is doing or thinking at that moment. It becomes distracting, boring and unnecessary to the story.

I enjoyed this. The narrators were perfect. I loved the characters. I didn't enjoy the time jumps, but thats a me thing.
