The first time Jesse fell for Hailey, he fell completely....forever. The second he falls harder and further, she is still socially awkward, confrontational, abrupt and prone to running, but this time he is ready for her and will chase her to the end of the earth because she has always held his heart, always been his only.....they just need to find and rescue Easton first!
I love that they finally get a second chance for their love, they are older and wiser (maybe) and are finally able to be honest with each other and with themselves...something that was impossible as a teenager in care.
This is a fast paced and intriguing start to the new series, I am really looking forward to book two and the fireworks between Cash and Reese, but I also hope that at some point we also get Easton's book too, he may be a geek but I love just how well he reads and plays Jesse and Hailey! He knows exactly how and when to push them.
It is also great to catch up with previous characters from the original Redemption Harbor series.
