It is true that sound can in fact help in relaxation. I remember when I was taking sessions of sound along with visual waves to reduce migraine. The author did an excellent job explaining the benefits of sound for your life; but the right kind of sound and frequencies. I tune my guitar sometimes with the tuning fork, and the sound is amazing when you hit it. Give this audiobook a try. Understanding sound will make you more receptive to it. The narrator did an excellent job too.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this audiobook made the topic easy to understand and surprisingly practical. I liked how it explained the basics without getting too technical, so I could follow along and actually try some of the ideas. The narration had a calming quality, which fit the subject perfectly.
