What was one of the most memorable moments of Fat Chance?

Quite liked the description of the dress incident at M&S although the staff response annoyed me as working there none of my colleagues would have reacted that way!

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Heather Wilds and Napoleon Ryan ?

Narration absolutely appalling. Anyone else cast would probably have been better. Heather Wilds' voice was nothing like I imagined Zoe's to be and had an irritating lack of emotion and odd intonation.

Any additional comments?

Wouldn't listen to it again because of the narration but would like to read it on my kindle.

The book seems well enough written but I cannot get past the first chapter because it sounds as if it is being read by an automated voice. The narration so far is monotonous and devoid of any emotion or intonation.

This story was amusing, well written and actually did address some very important issues sympathetically.
We enjoyed it EXCEPT the female narrator was awful. It says a lot for Nick Spalding's writing that we stuck with it. The male narrator was okay, it's a hard job and he handled it well but the woman was dreadful. For a start her accent was far too "posh" for the prose but worse than that her emphasis was wrong almost constantly. It was like listening to a not very good computerised narration. I am really sorry but if you are going to do this job you must do it better than that.

I nearly did not continue with this book. It was slow at first and I did not like the voice of the women reader. It seemed upper class and annoying voice. However, the book alternates with a male narrating. His voice seems comially forced but easier to listen to. The book improves as you get into it. There are some amusing parts even though there are cliche representations of people. In the end an enjoyable listen but I doubt I would have read the book.
