Summary

My life is at a stand still as I watch it all fade by. It’s the most beautiful and yet tragic thing I’ve ever seen. I lost everything, and I mean everything. But a single moment can change who we are. It can make or break you.

When Will Taylor sits down next to me, he totally derails my plans. His cocky assurance makes me laugh, and he begins to make me hope.

Now, I measure my life minute by minute and I cherish every moment with him, because I know it won’t last long. Nothing ever does for me.

Will Taylor wants me.

Will Taylor loves me.

But will he keep me from Fading into Nothing, or will I be left to save myself?

Mags and Lip... did they ever have a chance?

Kelly Moore did a wonderful job with these characters and this storyline. I was a little confused at first when Maggie was on the train the first time... but I figured it out shortly after.

I really liked this story. I loved Maggie and Will. Hank was dear to my heart.

There’s so much I could say, but I am not able to without spoilers. I don’t want to spoil this for anyone because I hate it when someone does that to me.

I love Kelly Moore’s writing and will gladly read/listen to her regularly.

I don’t remember listening to Jackie Wynn or Van Wynn before.. and they were good for me. There was a bit of tinny sound to the recording though. It did. It stop me from listening.

Epic Love

This was nothing like I expected. Kelly Moore carefully manipulates a very hard subject into a beautiful love story. Telling a story of addiction is difficult, and this one is not easy. The way Moore weaves the love story between Will and Maggie is telling and full of emotion. So much is covered in such a short time, loss, unconditional love, grief, happiness, cravings, all things we get to experience with this couple. It's heart wrenching at times, and makes you smile at others. And the twist will leave you rethinking the whole book! Moore again writes an epic love story that stays with you long after you are finished.

Jackie Wynn tells this story from Maggie's point of view. The first scene, she has such emotional pull, it drags you right into the story. I enjoyed her voice, and thought the match to this character was exactly how I would have imagined her. Van Wynn voiced the male conversations. I thought he fit in well into the story, and there was a definite chemistry when the conversations were interacting. It gave the story the feelings of Maggie and Will. I definitely recommend their portrayal of Fading into Nothing.

Fantabulous narration and great story

I absolutely love the way that Jackie Wynn and Van Wynn narrate this book. She is the main narrator (as the book is written from Maggie's point of view) and he does all the male voices and male points of view. It works so damn well and it's so easy to tell who is who. It really brought the book to life and pulled me further into the story.

I really enjoyed the story, and while I had a little niggle in the back of my head the whole way through...it turned out it was the huge twist...which was really really good. Such great characters and I loved the ending. A really good listen.

A different kind of story

I really enjoyed this story, it’s a bit different than most stories I read or listen to. Maggie is the main character, and it’s about her hope and road to happiness. I can’t give much away in my review but I will say the book can get confusing at a few times, but makes more sense in the end. I really enjoyed this style of dual narrative as well, Jackie and Van did an excellent job in bringing the story to life.

That took a turn

That took a turn I was not expecting and was not hoping to happen. It was a well written book, but that turn I did not like. Just my opinion, but either way it was still a good book.

I did like how the guy spoke for the words of the males, while the girl read the whole book. At a few times it sounded a bit distorted, but not horrible. They just seemed to be too far from the microphone possibly.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

Maggie and Wills story is heartbreakingly beautiful. Maggie comes from a poor life filled with addiction and death. Will comes from wealth with his own heartbreaking story. Both are broken in so many ways but they help heal each other. I love that Will helps Maggie through the darkness and helps heal her. The plot twist broke my heart but Kelly Moore put it back together by the end of the book. She did an amazing job with this story. I loved every second of it.

I love the fact that when Will was talking they actually had a male voice and not just a female changing her voice. Jackie and Van Wynn did an amazing job narrating.

Unconventional Love Story

What a wonderful love story. It starts with Maggie and her brother in a terrible situation and flashes several years to the future where she meets Will. They have a storybook love story. There are lots of things along the way and I won't spoil it for you but know this is a great book, the narrators were terrific to listen to. I will be searching out more by Jackie and Van Wynn. Loved how they are interacting together during each chapter and she speaks when it's a female and he speaks when it's a male which is so much better to me.

I received a code to listen and review. I loved this narration and I highly recommend it.

This story was amazing

Fading into Nothing by Kelly Moore, will emotionally challenge your senses. The story is baffling, confounding, perplex, but well designed. The storyline is fantasy, but not, and that makes it intriguing. I loved this story beginning to the very end.

WHOA!!

Maggie Harper and her brother, Phillip, are alone and both addicted to drugs as teenagers.

This book totally threw me for a loop. I didn't expect the outcomes at all. I was hooked from the moment I started the prologue!

I couldn't believe the turn of events, this book got me hook, line, and sinker.. Well worth the read!

When Maggie meets Will Taylor he totally throws her for a loop, he is so sure of himself and the things he says completely take her by surprise. She doesn't know what she is feeling, she's never felt this way before.

I loved Will and Maggie! I also really fell in love with Hank, he was just so sweet and special.

Not only are the main characters in this book very well written, the side characters also make an impression. That is what makes a great book!!

The narrators did a wonderful job making this book seem so realistic. It was like a tv show, I pictured everything so vividly!

Expect the unexpected

This was a good listen with some twists along the way. I wasn’t expecting them but I like how they turned out. A good listen for sure.

Good

The twist was totally unexpected but the ending made up for it.
I was hoping she would be truthful.
Thank you for no regrets.

Slow burn, full of life.

While I generally enjoy a book that has movement and a faster pacing, I like the way this written narrative of a life choosing between nothing and everything takes us on a journey. The author moves between worlds and choices of our story teller with an almost spiritual voice and air. The first couple times this confused me because of the way it’s read, but other than that, I find I enjoy the alternate story type telling, reminding us that a loss, even many losses is not ‘all lost’. Jackie Wynn tells the story in an even almost monotone way that somehow compliments the authors words in a way I would not have imagined. She is joined occasionally by Van Wynn who has a deep, and melodic voice. It suits the story perfectly. This is not a happy story, but nor is it one that leaves you unhappy. The events simply remind us that life is hard, it differs for everyone, and if we do the best we can... there is a hope for everyone to find peace and happiness and that’s a gift. I definitely recommend the book, and if you are inclined the audio as well.

Narration adds heart!

Oh man, I’m starting to think that Kelly Moore has it out for my heart. Fading Into Nothing was an amazing story. There’s so much heart in this story. The story touched my heart with a story of addiction and the struggle with grief and death. Seriously, I think Kelly Moore enjoys messing with my emotions! Let’s just say Miss Moore pulls out all the surprises here and left me reeling!

The narrators Jackie Wynn and Van Wynn flow so well together. Their voices and tons really gave emotion and heart to the story… an addition of feeling the book wouldn’t have had without their voices. I’m really surprised with the way they portrayed the feelings of the characters and the struggles they dealt with.

Caught off Gaurd

This is an interesting love story. A chance meeting on a train could change everything. This story’s had a unique style and I think Hank might be my favorite character. I would recommend this story to others. Narration was great. #audiobookobsession

Twist and turns

This book had me guessing what was what. This is a story of 2nd Chance in life. A rough up bringing hasn’t ruined her life! The author does a great job making us fall in love with Maggie! I was rooting for her the whole book.

Fading ....

Fading Into Nothing by Kelly Moore is a journey into darkness! Mattie and her brother Lip are living a terrible life. They are on their own with an addicted dater and after the overdose death of their mother. Trying to survive they too become addicted and are living for their next fix. This story has many twists and turns. Maggie meets Will, a young man on the way home to bury his brother from an overdose. They are attracted to each other, and this is Maggie and Will’s story, and I was completely taken in by it. This is the second book in Kelly Moore’s Epic Love Series.

4.5 Stars..A Story Of Hope, Dreams, and Strength

A brother, Phillip, and sister, Marie, deserted by their parents and have fallen into drugs. A sad opening scene...later Maggie is on a train heading to South Carolina from New York City, where she’s a teacher, for a vacation. On the train she meets Will. An immediate and full connection, attraction, and a spiritual bonding.
Will pursues his connection to Maggie and Maggie is drawn along.
All from the POV of Maggie, the turns and twists, are unexpected.
The ending is a surprise and yet not fulling as it answers questions the story provides.

Great Story with Bizarre Ending

This book is 2nd in the series but is fine as a standalone. It does exhibit some of the more difficult aspects of addiction and losses due to addiction. The characters are well developed and clearly have an undeniable connection with each other and are able to help each other move forward. The ending really caught me off guard and was kind of bizarre. Great story!

Really enjoyed the narration and liked that this was a dual performance. I think this was a perfect kind of story to have that style. I thought both narrators did a great job throughout the book.

Addiction and Second chance

This was my first Kelly Moore's book. This was an emotional and heartbreaking listen. Addiction isn't an easy subject. I don't know how I missed this information, but the Publisher's Summary didn't give away nothing about that. Overall, the story was great, and the duet narration is well done.
