I really enjoyed this book. It's very informative, and it's a fun listen! I like that she breaks down every chapter and gives the data backing it up, then at end sums it up with a "bottom line". She also makes you feel like YOU have choices of what to do with each piece of advice.

Great listen

It is the spirit in all of this examples of the book that remembers and understands. The soul or mind does not begin to develop until about the time we are born, because the neuro-pathways have not developed enough and the elimination or insulation around them does not start until just before or after birth. There is no way the mind/soul is able to remember these examples in the book.

I first read this book 25 years ago when my midwife suggested it. I purchased this copy for my daughter when she was expecting. What you will learn(and it's documented) will blow your theories of what an unborn child is capable of. A MUST LISTEN FOR EVERY EXPECTANT MOTHER.

This book gave me peace of mind throughout my pregnancy. I listen the information a trimester at a time and was relieved at all of the things I felt like I didn't have to stress about. While I didn't follow all of the recommendations she made (or implied), I felt much calmer knowing that eating sushi wasn't going to kill my baby and that taking a sip of my husband's wine isn't necessarily the end of the world. I would recommend this book to any pregnant woman prone to anxiety like I am.

Amazing!!

I wanted this book for my library...as I'd already read it cover to cover.
Author makes the valid point for all time- that the quality of the conception, to birth,
to perinatal bonding environment is crucial to a psychologically healthy life.
