About this listen

God is real. This is my story. Open and authentic.

By the age of 12, I had already been abused several times. With my innocence and identity stolen, I began a downward spiral using alcohol and marijuana to cope. No one suspected that this compassionate, cheerful woman suffered from depression. I began working as a stripper, then as an escort all while identifying as a bisexual woman. I returned to my childhood religion - looking for what, I didn’t know - but after a failed marriage and unable to find God, I went back to my previous life, this time as a madam.

Throughout my spiritual evolution, I went through many different churches, then, on an unassuming day in 2010, the Lord Jesus began to make himself known to me. Just like the biblical Paul, I had a Damascus road experience; the Lord called me out of my religion and into a free life in him.

My personal memoir, Everybody Kneeling Ain’t Praying, reveals how even in my freedom, I didn't know I was free – my walk reflected bondage, until I saw the truth. My story demonstrates the transformational power of the love of God. Change is possible! Don’t let anyone hold you hostage because of your past. There is freedom in Jesus Christ, and my story is living proof.
