I could not stop listening to this second book in the series. Wonderful cliffhanger at the end. I can’t wait to listen to the next book when it comes out on audible.

Definitely a more exciting book than the first in the series. The characters were developed further but i found the lead a little annoying at times with her indecision and lack of confidence. But she was convincing and the others I got to know quite well

The latter half of the story especially the ending had a huge twist and without giving it away made me look forward to the next instalment

At first sight this book perhaps would not seem to appeal to a middle aged male sci-fi fan like me. But that and quite sweet romance and sensitive writing won me over and I’ll be exploring other books by this author.

A final word re the narration. This was brilliant and she has improved massively since the first book with the characters voices and mannerisms consistent Well done!
