Summary

Enduring Childhood Abuse is a heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring story of Connie F. Webster's early life. Through this audiobook, you see her childhood and young adult life full of trials: sexual abuse at a young age, kidnapping, an unexpected teen pregnancy that ends due to an accident-induced miscarriage, a long-term relationship with a substance and alcohol abuser.

She tells her story directly to her listeners, inviting us in as if we're her closest confidants. Unflinchingly, she tells us her stories and what she's learned from each, helping us look for the grace to overcome our own challenges.

But what makes this memoir shine and stand above others is never once did Connie portray herself as a victim. At every turn, she found strength, with God's grace, along with endless grit, to improve her circumstances.

Over the years, Connie found the wisdom and compassion to forgive the people who have wronged her. She released her anger and forged multiple harrowing experiences into a foundation of strength to be an excellent mother and a shining light for others who have suffered at the hand of family, friends, or strangers.
