It's not just a Zombie Apocalpse.. it's the end of days, and demons want to bust it out of hell and take over the Earth.
*YAWN*
Our plucky band of demon slaying, chosen one protected road trippers just keep getting dumber. Yup... from Henry to one of the many Keeley, Kylie, Krissie, Kristy, Cassie, Kristen Mary-sues, this crowd just keeps proving that they are too stupid to live. (Yeah the character names prove this author needs a generator or to invest in a baby name book. I mean the hero is called Bryce... and the bad guy is called Bobby.... I think there's a young kid called Billy in there too.)
This series had such a promising start until Cassie Wild proved to not only be a Mary-Sue with Plot Armor... she's also the new Mary, the amazing ultra-skilled bimbo chosen one sent to get knocked up and save mankind... despite her idiotic survival choices. I had hoped the ridiculous religious element to this story would become a bit more coherent in the final book, it did not.
I have no idea why some people have declared this book suitable for 5 stars, the story structure was terrible and character actions made me want to claw my own brain out.... it is overall incoherent and illogical.
Worst in the series.
