Summary

A fugitive captured. A hero forsaken. A secret revealed.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Three days. That’s what they promised. But on Earth, the danger is unrelenting, and promises are hard to keep.

Now Sheriff Duke is the one on the run, chased by an unexpected enemy eager to finish what they started. An enemy with an agenda that begins with killing him but ends with something worse.

Much, much worse.

Once the secret is out, the universe will never be the same.

Story telling at its best.

A gripping story with plenty of twists and turns. Great action sci-fi.
As usual Jonathan Davis’ narration is compelling and faultless. A highly recommended series.

Pure Adventure, Okay Writing, Great Narrator

The story, in both the first and second books, was one long car chase (equivalent). Good when you can only half-listen to a book. Narrator was better than what he was reading.

Great all around

First, Jonathan Davis, best voice actor I've ever heard.

Second, MR Forbes creates an exciting and high octane sci fi universe that is scary yet believable. His action scenes are written with top notch penmanship. His transitioning is smooth and the story arks stay close to the core.

Highly recommend

S Kaye

Once again an intriguing ending. Lots of action and turns, but never full. I don’t agree with the bad language. The narration is really good, keep up good work Jonathan Davis! On to the next one.

Fantastic story line. Plots, subplots and more.
Solid action held up by strong characters.
My only quip is with the producer. It called desible balancing guy. Whispering one moment then blowing your eardrums the next.

Amazing continuation of a great story. BUT! Narration is inaudible at times.

Audible provides an INAUDIBLE narrator.
Davis was better with this book than previous books in this series. But still frustrating. He is a great narrator, BUT stop whispering!!!!
In this book he still likes to drop his voice to a hissing, whispering, hushed tone to emphasize the story.

For those that listen in an audio booth, by yourself in the woods, or in a dead silent room, I’m sure his narration is awesome. For the 90% of listeners that listen in the car, on a plane, while working, its impossible to hear him at times. The drama and voice acting isn’t worth the frustrating inaudible sentences. Please stop!!! Jonathon Davis does a great job when he’s not reading so softly you cant understand the story or hear him.

Well written, engaging. Great characters. Narration needs improvement.
