Summary

Dreams are among the strangest yet most fascinating phenomena we can experience as human beings. They are magical and rife with symbolism for us to explore. They can provide us with insight into our subconscious, into the things that even our own mind hides from us. Our deepest fears and desires can manifest in these nightly visitations, so they’re definitely worth paying attention to.

Do you dream in color? How about sound? Do you have recurring dreams of places that you’ve never been to before? You might even believe that it is your soul that visits these places whilst you sleep.

Dreams can be as real as waking life. You experience the same sensations, the same emotions, and the same feelings. Have you ever woken up suddenly whilst in the middle of a dream and felt disoriented, your reality and the dream world still blurring together? That’s how real it can be for some people. Especially so if you happen to be a lucid dreamer.

The elements in our dream may often seem out of our control, as if these things simply bloom from our subconscious out of the blue, and we are simply there to observe them as they happen. But, this isn’t always the case as you’ll find out in this audiobook. There is a way for you to learn how to control and manipulate your dreams, basically allowing you to create your own narrative and your own world. Quite the fantastic notion, right?

What about the nightmares that you have? Have you ever thought about their sources? What could be causing them, and why do you have recurring ones? Much like your regular dreams, these nightmares have their roots within your unconscious mind. It's just as important to pay attention to them for they might be trying to show you an underlying problem that needs to be resolved.

As frightening as the images are, once you remove the veil and begin to understand the science behind them, they do get less intimidating. It’s all about discovering the truths behind the monsters that visit your sleep.

We’ll also take a look at how dreams influenced different cultures from around the world. From the beliefs of the ancient Greeks to protective dream tools created by the Native Americans, we’ll tackle how they saw dreams and how they interpreted the symbols within them.

Whether dreams are purely products of our subconscious or abstract divine messages, one thing is certain; they are a field of study that will endlessly fascinate and pique people’s interests.
