The first book laid a lot of ground for the world building. Here we were getting more action and pace. the story is heating up and Zam has so much to do, so little time to do it.

This is a story of how you don’t have to be the biggest, the best or the strongest but by working together as a team, you can achieve anything. Love, laughter, friendships, tears and plenty of action! This book has everything!

And as for the narration, Lauren Fortgang is as brilliant as ever. One of my favourite narrators and I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

This is such a great sequel. Besides the twists, turns and revelations, there’s so much heart to it. The relationship between Zam and her ‘family’ is warming and emotional, and Lauren’s delivery of it all is beyond reproach. I can’t wait for the next story.
