Having come to St Mary's late and listened back to back to the series I was looking forward to this new chapter of the 'universe'.

I was not dissapointed. The story was well conceived and written and once again wonderfully read bringing the story to life.

Looking forward to another outing.

I was a bit worried as the time police have never had a sense of humour .. but omg! this was absolutely fabulous in every way .. I loved it and didn't want it to end .. please write more Jodi ... I just loved the characters and the cross over with at Mary's

This book is firmly within the St Mary canon. a few new characters and a great chance to expand time police peeps. I knock it back a star as a little too much reliance on old and familiar faces.

I really enjoyed this first installment, it amazes me how fresh and fun it felt after listening to all of the St Mary's series, it was nice to see old favourites from a different point of view incorporated in a new story. I had many real laugh out loud moments and I am looking forward to the next book. My only small gripe was Jane, her inner dialogue did get a bit annoying and repetitive but then maybe that was the whole point or her character!
