Summary

Every day we make choices. And those choices accumulate and eventually become our life story. What would your life look like if you became an expert at making those choices?

In this inspiring guidebook, New York Times best-selling author Craig Groeschel shows how the choices that are in your power, if aligned with biblical principles, will lead to a life you've never imagined.

Divine Direction will help you seek wisdom through seven principles. You'll consider one thing to stop that's hindering you; how to start a new habit to redirect your path; where you should stay committed; and when you should go, even if it's easier to stay. The book also includes criteria that will help you feel confident in the right choice and encourages you with principles for trusting God with your decisions.

What story do you want to tell about yourself? God is dedicated to the wonderful plan he's laid out for you. The achievable and powerful steps in Divine Direction take you there one step at a time, big or small.

Unparalleled, Practical Wisdom for Life

For those who don't know Craig Groeschel, he is the premier church innovator in the US, possibly the world. The words in this book are so simple I'm sure the depth of its wisdom will go unnoticed by most.
Everyone I talk to wants to have the best life they can have. If I could go back to when I became a teenager and tell my friends to practice these 7 items with me, the world would be a different place.
Read this book, start its advice & share with someone else who you want to truly live life.

Great substance, not so great delivery.

Overall, I got a lot out of this book. The substance was all there and what I needed to hear. The delivery though, not so great. It felt like the reader just read one very, very long sentence. The pause between paragraphs and chapters or even sections wasn't really a pause at all. I usually listen to my books on my way into work and when I get there I have to pause the story, but there was never a good spot to pause because the reader never allowed for one.
Maybe don't use this guy again or teach him a different way to deliver the story.

This book really had an impact in my life!!

What did you love best about Divine Direction?

The book is just so easy to follow even in audio, but it has such a deep and meaningful message that conveys real actions that I've begun applying them in my life

What other book might you compare Divine Direction to and why?

Lasting Impact: 7 powerful conversations that will help your church grow. It compares to this book not because it talks about how to make your church grow, but it does help YOU grow spiritually. These two books have really impacted my life and both are great recommendations for you to read/listen if you're looking for some deep, personal, advise in growing closer to God and really growing spiritually for both you and your family's sake.

What about Van Tracy’s performance did you like?

It was good, not great. He sometimes uses a monotone way of talk that it doesn't always convey the feeling or emotion the author really meant. But once you're in the book you get pass that and enjoy the book anyway.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Aligning paths

Great content

Really good. Great thoughts to wrestle with as a Christian early in my faith. Great in how to live a life that is God honoring and the concepts apply to everybody. Not just for Christians. The single changes we make today change how we tell our stories in the future. It's that simple, but elaborates on it in the right ways. Great read, thanks Craig!
