Summary

Murmur and Fable are left reeling after Somnia’s servers crash, and nothing is quite the same. Even as they challenge new dungeons, Murmur is haunted by an old enemy who seeks to take her down a dark path.

Meanwhile, Laria and Shayla struggle to hide Wren’s prolonged immersion in the game from coworkers and sponsors alike, forcing them to seek out unlikely allies.

As more people are made aware of Wren’s predicament, freeing her from Somnia becomes even more crucial. However, it seems the game has other plans for her, and not even the AIs know what those are.

riveting and compelling

as sin and mur get to know each other "on screen" in the story and steep in their relationship beyond just friends it strikes a compelling note between what calls to you and who calls your name.

the continuing IRL plotline is enjoyable but only a dusting even now... into the next one!

I love the story

But I really love all the Everquest references throughout the book. The only thing missing is calling the enchanter your crack dealer.

Great read :)

I love the suspense in this book. I love wondering what all the different characters might be thinking or doing. I like being curious about what side stories are going on apart from what we hear. The narrator does a great job as well.

A screeching halt!

The storyline of this book became better as it went along as did the narrator's performance. However there should have been a book 5. The reason is because it comes to a sudden abrupt screeching halt. It reminds me of the big buck I hit with my truck that jumped out of the woods and tried to hurdle over my truck. The book leaves several unresolved conflicts that I found disconcerting. Overall it's a decent read.

Left hanging!!!

OMG! Serious cliff hanger in this installment! Before that, all the action and intense happenings that make Somnia great are present. I need the next book now!

Tired

I find Murmur has unlocked a new title. Queen of Drama, not to mention she is quite the hypocrite. It is absolutely fine for her to keep secrets from everyone but she will murder anyone who withholds information from her. I keep hoping that she will eventually grow up, and will say I much prefer Rash.

This book was such a great follow up to the other 3. I love the world/characters the dungeons sound so real and intense.

I wish we could see more depth on crafting but elite guild going for the top

Gnomes rule!

a somewhat different pacing than the others, but not in s bad way, just different...
Fable goes on dominating, while the outside world works themselves tagged to try and improve the situation while it continually finds ways to deteriorate.

if the fifth isn't out soon I might start having withdrawal symptoms <3
