The MC is a bit irritating with his non violent approaches, but it ties in nicely with the story, plus the twist at the end of that book might totally resolve that problem for the second book.

This was brilliant. Nemorosus is great at writing interesting and unique characters that feel real. Also I really enjoy when a LitRPG/progression fantasy type story focusses on something different than fighting. Business is a good story vehicle because it can have stakes and growth.

For me this scratched the inch left behind by Ascendance of A Bookworms merchantry plotlines.
