Story
Dorothy Graham is dead, which is inconvenient, not least for her. Luckily, she has planned for this eventuality. Now, if any of the truly dreadful people she is related to want to get their hands on her money, they’re going to have to do so via a fiendish difficult and frankly bizarre competition of Dorothy’s devising. After all, just because you’re dead, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a last laugh at the expense of people who made your life miserable.

A weekly newspaper dedicated to the weird and the wonderful (but mostly the weird), The Stranger Times is the go-to publication for the unexplained and inexplicable. At least that's their pitch. The reality is rather less auspicious. Their editor is a drunken, foul-tempered and foul-mouthed husk of a man who thinks little of the publication he edits. His staff are a ragtag group of misfits. And as for the assistant editor...well, that job is a revolving door - and it has just revolved to reveal Hannah Willis, who's got problems of her own.

Summary
He’s a good man having a bad day with the worst hangover.
All Bunny McGarry wants is a spot of breakfast and a decent cup of tea. So imagine how annoyed he gets when two masked men attempt to rob the New York diner he is in. Unfortunately, dealing with that problem just leads to a whole lot more. One of the diner’s other customers isn’t who she appears to be, and the odds aren’t great that she is going to live to see another breakfast.
So just how much trouble is she in?
Well, you know how they’re always telling us to pay attention to our pensions? Some ex-employees of the US government are really taking that advice to heart by using their mayhem-creating abilities to maximise their investments. When one of their fund managers has a momentary crisis of conscience and confesses all to a woman he hardly knows, they will stop at nothing to deal with the problem. Amy Daniels is in big trouble and the only thing keeping her alive is a man who is supposed to already be dead.
Disaster Inc., is the first book in a new series featuring Bunny McGarry, beloved by those who enjoyed the critically-acclaimed Dublin Trilogy of books. It melds high-octane action with a distinctly Irish acerbic wit.

My favourite series of audiobooks ever
I'm so pleased to have found this series of audiobooks. It's unusual to find exciting books like these that have a lighter side as well. The writing is brilliant & the characters original. Bunny, especially, gets better with each book. The narrator makes the characters so real that it's amazing that one man can do all the different voices. I am so looking forward to the audio version of the latest book.

Another Great Bunny Caper
This is an excellent book filled with memorable characters, great action and superb narration. I loved the New York location and Bunny as fish out of water set up some great scenes. Bunny should have his own TV series but who could play him as well as Morgan C Jones reads him? Looking forward to the next one.

All you want and more
I was hooked on the Dublin trilogy from the very first moment and the rest is history.
I adore the characters, the wit, the incredibly funny turn of phrase, the great pace.
To cap it all off, Morgan C Jones really brings all Bunny books alive, his narration is simply irresistible, accents and all.
One of the best books I have read/listened to in ages. Please, keep them coming!

Excellent!
I have to admit to being slightly biased at this point as I’ve read all the books so far (and love them) and wait impatiently for the release of each audiobook. The stories are interesting and engaging and the characters are wonderful! This book introduces new characters and the new setting of New York which I was somewhat hesitant about since I have grown to love the characters in the Dublin Trilogy, but I needn’t have worried. Trust in Mr. McDonnell’s considerable talent as a writer and Morgan C. Jones wonderful voice work to draw you in and provide a truly enjoyable experience. Loved it!

Narrator-arrrgghhh
Fun story but the narration is agony. The Irish protagonist, and hero, sounds like a demented leprechaun with a mouthful of drano and marbles. The 3 idiot financial guys are from Ohio but talk with ridiculous new jersey gangster accents. I love the Bunny McGarry character but the narrator ruined it for me. Need to read all of McDonnell books in book form. Darn
