Good story well written but narration left a lot to be desired sadly. The generous peppering of blasphemous expletives jarred more than a little and as well as being offensive did not fit with the rest of the dialogue.

Good story spoilt by flat narration

Really enjoyed this story. Lots of twists and dead-ends but all convincing ones. I couldn't stop listening...

More twists and turns than a rollercoaster...!

Some really big red herrings in this whodunnit about a policeman's wife being murdered. Good story though, nice twist at the end and well narrated.

Very good whodunnit

This is really well read by Stephen Hodson, a really good story with an interesting twist at the end. For once DI Diamond finds himself a suspect in the murder case and needs to do some private sleuthing. Set in Bath and Bristol so I found it particularly enjoyable.

Super reading and a great story - recommended.

I enjoyed this book very much, the subject matter was sad, but believable and not in the general run of other Diamond books, not going to put in spoilers. Well read by Steve Hodson

Somewhat different
