They say greed lit the match, that gold was at the root of this evil. The miners up near Devils Desk, Alaska, dug too deep, blasted too hard, and they broke something that can never be repaired. Another amazing Talbot adventure. Mark Tufo's writing continues to entertain to the highest degree and make me laugh outloud. Sean Runnette's narration as always is impeccable.

Mark Tufo stories are great, especially Mike Talbot related stories (does he do anything else?😂) loved the first two in the series and was really excited for this. Unfortunately it was not upto scratch. Seems like Mike is a different character for the first half, a whining little coward, it’s odd. It really doesn’t feel like the story moves on at all.
