Derek Landy is an absolute boss! I am jus off the back of reading the whole 13 book skullduggery pleasant series 1 after the other and now starting the demon Road trilogy and Derek does not dissapoint

I loved this book it has you laughing hysterically in one moment and then jumping out of your skin the next

I loved all the characters especially Glen he was definitely my favourite character

I would recommend this book to anyone who reads books 13+.

Loved it, not a teen angst story but not an adult story either, just a great story.

I'll be honest I struggled to get into in the first 30 minutes, cos the narrator was so monotone and I had push myself to listen to it. I'm glad I did as the story unraveled so did the narrators voice tones and her accents were decent. The story it's self is a bit gruesome, but you get into and before you know it you're rooting for the protagonist. My advice commitment, which is the key to this book, as parts in the story lag. Overall I enjoyed it.
