Shane is one of my favourite writers. As soon as they posted that this book was out, i went and got it. Be warned, it has cliff hangers though, like the last book 😂

A great 3rd instalment to the series!
Continuing right after book 2, Jake it hit with quite the bombshell in regards to his heritage.
Emma (the new girl) is a RIOT! I love her!
Under that, quote “horny, sl’t bunny” persona, x) she is a smart, sensitive girl full of so much love for Jake.
And in chapter 19......HOLY CRAP! can Alyssa Poon narrate!
She seems to go that little bit extra in any of her performances (and accents) for the female characters she voices. She’s in my top 3 for female narrators!
The performance by her and Evan is always 10/10, so happy they were chosen for this story.

The plot thickens!

In this latest episode of the Harry Potter esque harem story the plot seems to forget that it’s supposed to be a story about a guy going to a magical school sadly. The female cast could have been 1-2 girls and the lines could have pretty much been the same. I think the story would have benefited from getting to know them better before chasing the next girl but it’s a harem story so w/e. It’s the little things that make me lose focus reading this and questioning why I’m not just skipping to the end to find out what’s happening because the story confused me a fair bit.

Nonetheless there are fun points to this story and the VA is actually pretty decent.
