great listening

once again Mark Tufo has managed to leave me hanging with this 1st edition of Demon Fallout, exciting, imaginative, humourous as always, with great characters.
Sean Reunette, as always, narrates and acts with an awesome talent, only adding to the charm and the the lives of Michael Talbot.
prey you continue the life and stories of his character that is Michael Talbot.
thank you

Totally amazing

I’ve been hooked from the very first chapter of this great story the twist turns highs and lows. I must thank Mr Tufo for having such a messed up imagination. Hate to think this is all coming to an end though.

Just OK

Runnette does an excellent job as usual, and will forever be the voice of Michael Talbot. The story has some good parts, but has some pretty strange plot twists. Some don't make sense they're so far stretched, but you just have to accept them as the story is over just as fast as it began.

this book shakes the world of Talbot

Mark Tufo has moved from Zombies and vampires to demons and creatures of the underworld in Demon Fallout – The Return. Talbot’s adopted son and vampire, Tommy gets a message to Talbot – he’s in desperate need of help. Talbot, a loyal friend and one who holds nothing else above family rushes to his aid crossing into the underworld of demons. We are introduced to new characters and see the return of old ones as well as crossing over into other realms of Tufo – Talbot vs Timothy (the deadly flesh-eating zombie clown)!

Tufo is not one to rest on his tried and true writing style, this book shakes the world of Talbot and his readers into gut-wrenching moments that will leave you gasping and shocked! It has the Talbot humor and Talbot charm but the twist is quick, unexpected and well done; the reader has no opportunity to regain their balance period! Imagine, if you will, being sideswiped by a semi driven by a cab full of Elves on the Shelf with crazy demonic eyes and maniacal laughter that appears out of nowhere – that is what this book is like!

Sean Runnette, once again performed the book superbly. I cannot hear Runnette in anything else without connecting him to Michael Talbot first. He IS the perfect voice for Michael Talbot.

Loved the book and while I am still reeling from it, this was perfect!

Good one but.....

The story is a little to full of Talbotisms...they are used excessively as filler and cause the story to drag....

Not sure what to say

I am not sure what to say about this book. I have generally enjoyed everything that I have listened to by Mark Tufo but with this one I found myself resisting the urge to turn it off. I will say it got better toward the end of the book and I liked the twist but it still fell short compared to his other books and I can’t say for sure if I will continue with this series. Maybe

Most puerile. Most sophomoric. Most difficult.

I came into the Zombie/Vampire/Lycan/Demon Fallout series with the first Lycan Fallout book. I started the last Lycan Fallout book, but realized that I probably need to listen to this one. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever get back to the Lycan book because this one is so unbearable. I thought I'd gotten used to Tufo's bouts of fourth-grade-boy obsession with sh** and other bodily functions, fluids, etc., but it is just constant in this book in the stupidest and most distracting ways. Also, because Tufo has to create a whole new world (levels of hell), there are all kinds of dumb species of demons he has to create and each is less important than the next, but we get at least a chapter's worth of them. Most books are the "can't put them down" type. This one is so stupid and banal sometimes, I find myself having to just shut it off in irritation. It's a shame. I'd like to know how all of this ends, but this sideroad -- especially one that focuses on two characters from the Zombie Fallout series I don't care that much about -- may just be the off-ramp for me. #disappointed

Over description, copy & paste bore. Disappointing

Anyone who has read Tufo knows he can be over descriptive to the point of nausea. This is just the worst of the worst. He even went as far as to copy and paste paragraphs from prior books multiple times throughout!
This books feels like when you forget you have that 1000 word essay due this afternoon.. so you add as much erroneous filler BS as you can to get it done in your 30 minute lunch break.
Tufo has sold out, phoned it in, just given up, whatever.
The days of ZFallout are gone for sure. Just sad.
Sean Runnette remains amazing as ever and once again is the only reason why you'll listen to the end of this garbage.

Cool story, but lacked the umph

I've read almost all Tufo's stuff. Loved ZF, LF, and IH. Thought this would hold up, but it more reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, Talbot style.

Michael said all the right stuff, Linic was a cool character, but the conflict with Tomas and Eliza was weird. I'll probably read the next installment, but I'll wait until after some other stuff.

If Tufo adds any more titles to the series I mentioned above, I'll definitely read those.

Ruined the Zombie Fallout series for me

I really like most of the Michael Talbot stories, but because this one is in the same universe as Zombie and Lycan Fallout certain character developments make it a struggle to fit it in with everything I once knew. Sean Runnette still does an excellent job however and I will still buy the next book because, like everything else now, they just keep going on and on and on...

spoilers but i think it has to be said.

I am not happy with the turn in this book. ie Tommy. I don't think it makes sense based on all things. Plus it just leaves a bitter taste.
