France, 1963. I was surprised to find how much I enjoyed listening to this book which I must have bought years ago.

Good story and well told, a timely reminder of the Great War and its effects in Picardy afterwards.

An exciting and complex plot, and interesting setting of rural France after WW11. Gordon Griffin was an excellent narrator, in fact he was a big part of the reason that I chose this title. I'm sorry he is not narrating later books in the series, as I really enjoy listening to him.
