Several months of full VR immersion may have turned the cumbersome walking deadman into a swift killing machine, allowing him to earn the patronage of the Lord of Chaos and even acquire his own crypt - but John is still a long way away from reaching the coveted level 100 which would allow him to escape his virtual prison and rescue his own physical body.

Nvm my earlier review it’s pretty good in my opinion although a bit boring in the middle

I have to say I did enjoy the book, and the twist n turns did have me saying out loud "What The Hell" but as far as the ending goes. (No Spoilers) did leave me wanting.

ok, I enjoyed the story premise from book 1, this encouraged me to listen to book 2, book 3 was a bit of a damp squib.
how did I feel at the end?
answer: "meh!" which sums it up for me. lots of potential culminating in relatively bland ending.

story concludes with a weak pop not loud bang!
