About this listen
Start intercept: Sporadic reports indicate chaos and violence spreading through U.S. cities. An unknown evil is sweeping the planet. The dead are rising to claim the Earth as the new dominant species in the food chain. Intercept complete.
In your hands is the handwritten journal depicting one man's struggle for survival. Trapped in the midst of global disaster, he must make decisions; choices that ultimately mean life, or the eternal curse to walk as one of them. Enter, if you will, into the world of the undead.

Where does Day By Day Armageddon rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Up there with the best. What other book might you compare Day By Day Armageddon to, and why?
World War Z fans will find the diary format a treat as it really gets into the psyche of the main character and the Narrator is by far my favorite.Which character – as performed by Jay Snyder – was your favourite?
The lead characterDid you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It got me feeling anxious when the action kicked in, sad when morality struck and genuinely on the edge of my seat throughout.Any additional comments?
Fantastic story with a great narrator. Jay Snyder really captures the gritty, unnerving atmosphere of the post apocalyptic world and the small group of survivors battling with the enemy and the will to stay alive. Recommend to any zombie fan!A fantastic story to get your teeth into

Disappointingly short

I found it was one of those that once started it felt like to was about to go somewhere but never quite made it.
It wasn't bad enough to abandon but I was happy to have it in the car so I had other things to think about, not sure I'd have finished if I'd been at home.
The problem at its heart is I never really got engaged with any of the characters, I never really felt any jeopardy and everything seemed to work out to easily.
Some themes were started but not taken any further, this maybe corrected in the follow up(s) but not sure I'll go looking for it.
Average fair
