I had thought I would not like this series as I don't usually like first person "diary" type books but this was surprisingly entertaining. I do enjoy zombie tales especially if they try and present a different angle on the who how why scenario, which this does slightly. I like the interactions between the characters and the writing is of a good standard, the tale engaging enough to keep me interested enough (though somewhat technical in places ) and I am happily now downloading book 3. The narration was excellent and word pronunciation, which often has me pulling my hair out in frustration in some books, did not trigger my exacting standards as a listener, well done Jay Snider well done.

Sadly I will not be listening to book 3.5 which may or may not be essential to the story because 8.99 UK for a 40 min short story is expensive. why its not offered differently I have no idea. Shame on you Audible /Amazon

I found the "Day by day Armageddon" as a great listening and I grabbed the second book right after finishing the first one. It was not so good, however I continued with the third one, I have just finished.
The whole story is going down for me. Not sure if the author was running out of ideas - probably it's just my personal feeling but multiplying people&places in the whole story and abandoning hour by hour/ day by day diary style doesn't work for me. I am not sure if I am going to buy the next part of this story ...

This story ROCKS! but it just got finished before it began.

I really like the characters the best and felt shocked when they meet their demise..

What about Jay Snyder’s performance did you like?

King of the spoken word. without a bout. His voice resonates deep in the primal core that makes you listen more intently.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, it just exuded excellence from beginning to end.

If you like this try EX-heroes or any of the other novels, like Hyperion that Jay lends his voice to. Talking movies dude for-Real..
