Summary

The familiar world collapsed overnight. As the Transformation progressed, disasters occurred throughout the Earth. Materials changed their properties, new species of flora and fauna appeared. The Game converted our world into a huge dungeon, completely replacing the previous civilization.

However, the alien plans for Earth began to go awry from the very beginning. The conversion was less successful than expected. An ordinary young man stole the bonus for the first gaming action, depriving the invaders of their perk.

How can he manage the situation? Which of the aliens will become his ally? Which ones are his enemy? Dare they rebel against the all-powerful invaders, regain their land, and even create a new world?

Let down!

I enjoyed the first book, and the narration was good but this one was anything but...the narrator didn't differentiate between the characters and sometimes hesitated while reading, I couldn't engage with this book or keep up with the narration.

I couldn't finish listening

The change of narrator seriously hindered my ability to listen to this story. I was excited to listen after hearing the fist book but found myself tuning out or falling asleep while trying to list. The narrator is monotone and the pacing is off.

New Narrator

This new Narrator is terrible. He reads to the point everything feels like once sentence. When switching characters there is no indication of not and you easily get lost on what is going on. The book and story itself is great and I wish It had a better narrator

the narrator

I didn't like how they changed up the voice actor and book one I don't like that one book series do this and I don't like this one because you don't have the same as the last one he was going to be the original one they should have in the beginning.

ugh

hard to follow this one. voices have very little different and a bit to monotone. the story it self dose a lot of jumping around and I would get all confused cuse I didn't realize we had switched character's.

Excellent story, boring performance

I was very excited about this book, but was disappointed that the vocal talent, while excellent, did not live up to the first book. The story was solid, though obviously translated. If you can get past cast changes for narration, and understand that the dialog is a bit choppy and a bit odd in English, you'll enjoy our edgy prodigy's story.

It was alright

I most listen to audio books to pass the time while at work so more often then not it doesn't matter much how good or bad a book is to me. yes the MC is really lucky apparently. "super awesome at everything" but every and then I like an OP MC The story isn't as bad to me as some reviewers will write. The only thing that disappointed me at first with the change in Narrator. But this reader did ok. He could use some work on giving each character more diverse voices but overall he did fine. all in all, Hope to read the next book soon,

Good story but..

I really liked the story but changing from some of the best narrators in the genre to this monotone narrator that make everything run together and hard to fallow really hurt this audio series

Hmm

Seemed a bit more convoluted than the first also not a fan of the decision to change word/name pronunciation

good story, poor reading.

love the story. but it lacks the life of the previous reader. also reader of this book pauses when he shouldn't, and doesn't when he should.
