Unfair on listener and story writer.
The recording volume was insufficient as the narrators voice goes from normal to indistinct.. The inflections in the narrators voice distract from story and listening becomes a chore instead of a relaxing pleasure. It is unfair on the listener and author. I have reached chapter three but only by going back and listening to chapters again. I am at present considering asking for a refund and I have yet two more books narrated by the same person.

Brilliant 5 star audio book
I have read some of Helen's books and loved them so thought I had better start at the beginning of this series.
The book is a very well written story which kept me hooked all the way through, even though I did guess who the murderer was about half way through, I just didn't know who else would die and whether they would get away with it or not.
The narration was also very good and it was easy to distinguish between characters as well as their voices being consistent all the way through
