Summary

A teenager is found dead, stabbed through the heart by a professional killer. Detective Stephen Greco and his team must find out who the victim was and work to piece together the backstory. Then 'The Knifeman' strikes again, leading DCI Greco into a depraved world of exploitation. How is drugs baron Vinny Costello involved? Sorry!

... but I can’t give full marks to the narrator. The storyline is okay and I felt I had to read all three books to find the end story (if it is the end!). I found the gritty voice a bit depressing after awhile. And why, oh why, did Leah, a girl, sound like a whispering, gravelly man?

A bit depressing

This narration is very depressing and the story was predictable. It had a bit of a twist at the end. I would try the next one just to see what happens.

Quite good story

The narration of this book was not up to the usual standard and I’m glad it was cheap to download. I would not recommend or share.

A little disappointed

The first two books in this series were excellent, but this is rather predictable and formulaic, and less absorbing. Still a good listen while doing the housework
