Loved Dark Carousel and it really made me full in love with this series again. However, the story needs a better editor. so much of it felt disjointed until the final 1/3 of the book.

Here in this episode we're in Paris and the US where 2 good friends Charlotte Vintage and Genevieve Marten whom BOTH have Psychic tendencies. AFTER having gone to this Psychic Centre they came across these men gave them bad vibes so Charlotte got Genieve to the US with her. Then whilst at a 'Club' they came across these men whom KEPT harassing them for a drink/dance so Charlotte took a sip and she then realised something want right and then the Man in Black Tarik was there offering them his assistance for them to stay at his home with her niece and the children Tariq took Unger his care in previous books.
And this was a WHOLE LIFE CHANGE FOR THE GIRLS AND TARIQ and an ancient Afanasiv 'Siv' whom was caught by one pig his old friends Friedrik prior to him turning and KEPT hold of Siv for his blood.
But out was asset the end of Tariq, Charlotte's and the other Carpathian hunters that Siv realises that 10yrs old Liv is his lifemate whom he'll have to wait a good few yrs until she's old enough to accept which WE'LL see in their own episode later.....
