Summary

Being crew is walking between two worlds.
One world is normal: Prom. Parties. College.
Those are the concerns they worry about.

In our world, we deal with other situations.
Cops. Drugs. Brawling.
That’s a typical day for us.

But what if it wasn’t?

What if there came a day when you stopped?
When you considered letting your enemies win?
When you didn’t fight back?
When you chose a different path?

First I lost my family. Then I got the Wolf Crew.
I couldn't lose them too.

But what happens when Cross, Zellman, and Jordan keep going...
...and I don’t?

Powerfully emotional ❤️

What is it about Bren that pulls on my heartstrings? I just cry so hard for her. Between prom and graduation, gah, she slays me. This is an amazing story but it is really brought to life on audio book.

More high school drama - I loved it

Oh my gosh. Cross and Bren, truly adorable. I love them, everything about them. I love their relationship. I love how much they love and trust each other. I love the way they’re always there for each other, and yes, always have been, Crew comes first, but there is an understanding between them all. Cross and Bren, forever. High school drama with so many twists, so many turns and it would appear a few pawns being played. Bren is desperately trying to sort her life out, trying to be a better person, and as always Cross is there supporting her. What is the meaning of her life? Who can she trust? So much happening in her story. Action, suspense, oh, and a fair few surprises, both good and bad. How to write a review without spoilers, I just can’t. What I will say is I was addicted to the story, the characters, and of course Tijan’s style of writing that brings out the best in high school to life. I hope we get to see what happens after graduation, ‘cos I know whatever it is, it’ll make for a fun read. Narration was perfect from Therese Plummer, she was great in all roles narrated, sadly we only got to hear from Stephen Dexter for a few minutes.

Tijan made me fall in love with the characters in Crew and re-fall in love with them in this book. I love how he got a voice in this book. I loved the rawness of it all. I cant wait to see what happens with these 4 next.

Crew under fire!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
Romance: ❤️💙💜💚💛
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘📔
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌍
Character development: 😌🤓😬😯🤗

The heroine: Bren Monroe - one of the only women in a Crew system. She loves loves her crew and is all in the crew system. She lost her mother at a young age and sometimes really needs her. She hides her feelings deep inside herself and rarely lets them out.

The Hero(es): Cross Shaw - Bren’s boyfriend and in Wolf Crew with her. This is their senior year in high school and it seems everyone in town is determined to bring the crew system down. But it is their life and they aren’t giving it up.

Supporting Characters:
Wolf Crew - Cross Shaw, Bren Monroe, Jordan Pitts, Zellman Greenly;
Cross’s sister & Bren’s Friend - Tasmin (Taz) Shaw
Taz’s boyfriend & friend to Wolf Crew - Race Ryerson
Bren’s Brother & Crew royalty - Channing Monroe (he started the Crew system); He wants to connect with Bren.
Heather - Channing’s long time girlfriend.
Cross’s half brother (new information) Blaise Devore (he is a senior at Fallen Crest Academy)
Ryerson Crew Leader - Drake Ryerson (Bren’s Ex) – he has some ulterior motive for being in town.

The Story: Bren and Cross have been best friends for years and in love for the last year. Crew is their life and things are good at the beginning of the book, but it isn’t long before things start getting stirred up. Jordan gets jumped at a party and some other things start happening where it looks like strings are getting pulled against the kids in Roussou and Crews in particular.

The narration was great. Most of the book was told from Bren’s POV, but this Narrator Therese Plummer, is good at doing teenage male voices as well as the female voice. Then when the male narrator finally started, I liked him as Cross. He has a nice deep voice and his inflection was perfect for a guy like cross. A tough guy who grew up in Roussou.

The story was just as good as the first book. This time the Wolf Crew had different enemies to fight than in the first book as well as different family drama. I had read the book Rich Prick in the past. That one is technically after this one in the timeline, but it was nice to see the crossover in this one. Also we got to see the Kade’s in this book so there was a lot of Fallen Crest crossover as well. I just love how everything fits together so nicely.

Great Read

Crew Princess (Crew #2) was another great read by Tijan. Being a part of a crew is like walking a tight rope between the crew world and the normal road. Bren has already lost her family and now has the wolf crew. She can’t lose Cross, Zellman, and Jordan. I really enjoyed reading Bren’s story and can’t wait to read more by Tijan.

🎧 AUDIO REVIEW 🎧

AUDIO - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

BOOK - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I loved this from start to finish. I didn’t think crew would be topped but this one was even better.

I love Cross so much and with Bren they are amazing and just a total match.

I love Channing and Heather being in the book and even Mason, Sam and Logan.

I looking forward to getting into the third book and seeing if this one can be topped.

Heart and strength

This book is the second in the Crew Series. Is about four friends that have an interesting senior year. You mostly get Bren’s point of view. Bren has me intrigued after the last book so I was thrilled that this book had more of her story. I enjoyed how the emotions where written in this story and you experienced how each character felt during all the different events. This book has it all grit, emotions and great friendships. You can try but you can’t help but love these four friends and cheer them on through everything they experience.
