The Instant Sunday Times Bestseller

A deeply personal and inspiring memoir from one of the most celebrated and influential names in British sport.

Tom Daley captured the hearts of the nation with his unforgettable medal-winning performance in the London 2012 Olympics. At the games in Tokyo, he triumphed to win gold and became the most decorated British diver of all time.

In this deeply personal book, Tom explores the experiences that have shaped him and the qualities to which he owes his contentment and success; from the resilience he developed competing at world-class level, to the courage he discovered while reclaiming the narrative around his sexuality, and the perspective that family life has brought him.

Candid and perceptive, Coming Up for Air offers a unique insight into the life and mindset of one our greatest and most-loved athletes.

Always inspiring to see successful people struggling with the same things as normal people showing we are all normal. Great book well read and way more exciting than I thought😁👍🏻

It was great to hear Tom's view on his sporting career and how he experienced that. Also a great peek in his private life. He comes across as a motivated, self aware person who is now secure and happy with himself and his life. Up to the next chapter if his life either with or without diving.
It was great to hear Tom hinself narrate the book. It gave it that bit extra.

Great insight into the man

A truly honest and inspiring account of Tom’s life. All the ups, downs, set backs and heartache he has endured reflect the true enormity of his success as a athlete, role model/ ambassador and family man. Thank you for sharing. You are a real inspiration…you are an Olympic champion 👏

A wonderful insight into Tom’s life. He focuses a lot on diving more than his out of the pool life. I learnt things about diving I didn’t know I didn’t know.

A great insight
