About this listen

You can’t plan when you’ll fall in love - sometimes it just kinda sneaks up on you.

Todd Foxx was only looking to unwind from the stress of running the Sausage Shack when he went out for an evening of fun at the Big O. After he ended the evening by hooking up with a hot new alpha in town, he certainly never thought he’d see him again.

Hugo Keller left his high-profile job as a certified cicerone back east and moved across country to take a brewmaster job in Hollydale’s unique beer garden and sausage restaurant. A single dad, his only plans involved giving his young son a place to put down roots and focusing on his new job - even if it was a major step down from where he began. He certainly never expected to see his smoking hot one night stand again.

Can two men - and one precocious little boy - find a way to make a family? As Hugo and Todd slowly journey from lovers to coworkers to friends and back to lovers, they’ll need to deal with an ex-wife with boundary issues, a surprise pregnancy, and mysterious "mill girls" who like to giggle in the night.

Return to the world of Hollydale with a quirky romance full of all the fluffy feels and sweet heat that you’d expect from a Hollydale story. This is the ninth book of the Hollydale Omegas series but is absolutely able to be enjoyed as a stand-alone. This is a 42,000-word novel and definitely contains an HEA. Listeners over 18 only please! And yes, this audiobook contains M/PREG, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty mouth language.

Sweet, adorable and heartfelt! I loved Todd & Hugo!

I really enjoyed this Hollydale story and think it's my favorite so far! I loved the steamy star, turned no angst, a slow-burn love story. I enjoyed the backward way their relationship grew and the accidental pregnancy added to the cuteness, humor and wonderful sense of family.

I loved 4-year old, Simon! He's so cute, adorably matter of fact, and just plain perfect! "Remember? You, remember"

I also loved the weird supernatural elements that I keep forgetting are a part of each unique Hollydale story. Luisa and her sisters were mostly cute and a tiny bit creepy.

As sweet as ever, I loved this addition to the Hollydale family!!

Thanks for reading!

Susi Hawke is one of my favorite authors and she did not disappoint with this book. This story develops nicely. A good combination of world building and character development. I just fell in love with Todd, Hugo and Simon. If you like M/Preg this is the story for you.
The Narrator Drew Bacca did a fantastic job bringing this story to life.

I love this series and the community and families that Susi Hawke has created. Cider Spiced Omega brings Hugo and his son the Hollydale. The night before starting his new job sees Hugo out on a rare child free night and he meets a beautiful omega that he clicks with instantly. Shock however comes when he meets his new boss, Todd, at the restaurant the next day.......after they slept together. Todd is just as shocked as Hugo but determined to be professional. He just wasn't expecting such a nice guy or adorable child in Simon. Of course an unexpected pregnancy puts a kink in the works as does Hugo's ex wife but helped out with a little help from three sisters.
I really enjoyed the story from start to finish. There's an easily noticeable connection right from their first meeting and heat clearly comes through. The MC's have moments where they seem really in sync and then completely at odds. One of the stars though is Simon, he little comments really made me chuckle. Victoria, Simon's mum is a force to be reckoned with. She is definitely someone who can grate on your nerves. The guys from Hollydale pop in throughout the story and it's great to catch up with them and to have their friendship for Todd and Hugo as they work their way through their relationship.
Drew has done a wonderful job narrating this story, bringing each character to life with their own voice and personality. I felt the emotion that everyone experienced and it was just really easy and fun to listen to.

Another wonderful addition to The Hollydale Omegas

if you are looking for a short, sweet and satisfying audiobook you can't go wrong with any of the Hollydale Omega books. Set in the fictional and picturesque Hollydale, each book features an alpha and omega match, and more often than not a baby or two! Cider-Spiced Omega focuses on Todd, an omega who owns a sausage restaurant, and Hugh who is the beermaker he hires. An unexpected mysterious encounter leaves them a bit awkward on Hugh's first day, and a whole lot pregnant. With a great supporting cast (lots of cameos from past books!) an adorable 4 year old, and the "wurst" sausage jokes ever, this is a pretty sweet story. It did lag a little bit for more when Todd and Hugh waffled on their relationship status, but since the story is on the short side it was okay. Drew Bacca is a new narrator for me, but did a great job. He used a lot of inflection and accents to distinguish between characters since there are so many of them, although at times I did have to stop to figure out who was talking. Overall a very enjoyable listen, and I am definitely interested in returning to Hollydale.
