Inspirational Chanting

Great to listen to for inspiration and to be reminded of the Buddha"s teachings.
Sung beautifully and in English, easy to understand and join in with.
Words and music notation can be found in the practice book "Chanting from the Heart".
A lotus blooms within this wonderful audio collection :-) _/\_

Simply wonderful

This is the accompanying chants and music for the Chanting From The Heart book. Not all of the chants from the book but enough to get you started.

Really loved it except...

I really enjoyed the chanting throughout. It's pleasant for meditation or background. My only issue is with the end chapter. It starts with an outtake (no problem, it's cute), but then all calmness is intruded upon with a horribly cheesy rendition of the Paramita Sutra, then the tape starts inexplicably speeding up & slowing down, leaving your nerves jarred & jangled!

Poor presentation

I’m a solo practitioner at the moment, and since I can’t read musical notation I bought this in order to learn the chants in chanting from the heart. Unfortunately the chapters are numbered instead of being labeled with the name of the chant, which makes it difficult to use for that purpose. I’m not even sure why the chapters are numbered since giving the titles would be the obvious way to present something like this.
