Where does But If rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As a short story, it is right up there amongst the top and I can see myself listening to this several more times in the future.

What did you like best about this story?

It was to the point! No fluff, no nonsense - just a good quality story. Funny but also thought provoking, as the best tales are.

I often find author who narrate their own books quite poor but this is definitely the exception to the rule - the narration is too quality and very engaging. Good quality audio throughout, including the music, which helped to set the tone.

I hope to see more stories by Keith Jahans appearing very soon.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Mostly, it made me THINK! I think it is a story we can all adapt and relate to various parts of our own lives.

Any additional comments?

Sometimes it is good to take a chance on something completely new, as I did here - my instincts were entirely correct! Fun and thought provoking.

Would you listen to But If again? Why?

Yes it was one of things that reminds me to keep my arrogance in check, for a short story it packs a punch and makes you think about doing the little things when a situation changes

Who was your favorite character and why?

The inventor, he knew what was likely and you felt there was an element of revenge in it.

Which character – as performed by Keith Jahans – was your favourite?

As above the inventor, though you can see he enjoyed the role of the business man but the sly humour of the inventor was more fun

This was an amazingly intriguing story. When I saw that it was only 8 minutes, I thought, "How great can this be in such a short window of time?" But, Keith Jahan tells a captivating story with such rich detail, I hated for it to end! Even though, the ending was so well-timed, it felt as if I'd read an entire novel! Great job, Keith! On both the story and the narration. Very well-done!
