About this listen

She's a bunny. She's a girl. And she's going to evolve.

Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit.

Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous [Mark of Fate] skill. She has no idea what it does, but things keep happening to her, most of them unpleasant. From little slimes to giant wolves, everything seems to want her dead, and in her efforts to escape them, she winds up in a complicated situation that she is in no way qualified to resolve.

Can she navigate this new world that seems to have it out for her specifically?

I have listened to many books by this point. Some were awesome, some were… less so… and this one while i wasn’t sure at first due to the fear of the bunny theme being too strong and it would like… take the trope too far, it hasn’t and honestly, it’s a serious story, a very serious one, could use a little humour i think, but that isn’t a criticism, merely something i think would add to the story a little more, like… some flavour to add even more richness to a already pretty amazing story. Simply put, love the character, the story and the narrator, 10 out of 10 for it all, of course, that would be the case if the rating system here wasn’t 5 out of 5, so in that case, 5 out of 5 for it all. Would most certainly recommend and will do so to others.

Gotta say, amazing.

Very glad I chose to pick this up. It’s not as dark as some lit RPGs, but has some serious and dark moments, overall has a great storyline, some laugh out loud moments and some great character developments. Characters were really good and liked the magic system.

I look forward to the next book and will get when it comes.

Great book!

Recently these sorts of isekai/litRPG stories have been leaning into more niche concepts rather than the basic "generic male protagonist appears in generic fantasy world" and I'm all for it. While this isn't my all-time favourite or anything, it's a solid addition to the genre and I look forward to the second book.

And the narration was great, aside from one minor detail: I hate the way Americans pronounce "Titania". It's gratingly incorrect.

Solid Isekai
