About this listen
What Happened To Hitler's Gold?
An epic story unlocking the mystery behind the lost gold and treasures looted by the Nazis during WWII. Astonishing evidence reveals the complicity of international banks and global financial institutions in co-operating with Hitler’s regime, enabling the economy of Nazi Germany to thrive at the expense of occupied countries.
An inheritance contains evidence of a family’s involvement in concealing and controlling Nazi assets post-war, triggering an investigation which uncovers corruption on an unimaginable scale. Many powerful factions are implicated in the disappearance of a fortune and who benefitted from the largest bank heist in history, carried out on the orders of Hitler in 1945.
The probe into secrets from the past unleashes a deadly threat against those involved as they investigate a shameful international money-laundering outrage.
Explosive revelations link modern-day reputable bodies to deplorable war-crimes from the past. Global markets are placed at risk as the very integrity at the heart of international banking is threatened by an exposure of a staggering financial scandal.
Forensic research undertaken by the author reveals shocking truths from the past wrapped in a gripping fast-paced drama tracing events from WWII to the present.
However, the narrator (the author) is not s German speaker. I understand why authors narrate their own work, but every mispronunciation of "Boon-dez-nach-rich-ten-deenst" (Bundesnachrichtendienst) grates horribly and breaks the spell... 30 minutes on-line would have furnished the correct German pronunciations....
It is a small complaint, the story is genuinely very good.
Never let a non-German speaker attempt to read German.
