Loved it!!!!

After listening to Brave New Girl with Chloe’s soothing voice, I just wished I could hug her. It was easy to listen to, made so much sense, very informative and helpful. So many times I caught myself yelling yes!!! out loud or nodding intensely because what she describes is so relatable!! I loved this book and will defiantly listen to it again at some point in the future.

A really positive listen

I've listened through once and haven't done the suggested activities yet but I think this will help me. It makes suggestions for ways to talk to people but also ways to talk to yourself. I bought it to help me deal with rejection from friends and I think it really will help me to get more confidence, to handle awkward situations and better and to care less as well.

Lacks depth

I was looking forward to listening to this. Unfortunately it was unoriginal and not inspiring. It lacked depth.

so good!

I love Chloe Brotheridge, i read her first book The Anxiety Solution in 2017 when i was struggling with anxiety, it really helped, and i am now going through a lot of change in my life and trying to grow and Brave New Girl is so good for that, really makes you think, and love the techniques and tips. I will be re-listening to this and think i will listen to her first book again too. Plus i love Chloe's voice too, really kind and calming.

Must read!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I would definitely recommend this book!! I have listened to it 3 times now and every time I take something from it. I feel like Chloe is speaking to me directly. She’s amazing!! Love the book and love her!!!

Extremely helpful

I cannot recommend this book enough. It is so helpful and full of practical tips for "feeling the fear and doing it anyway". Chloé's narration is a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this amazing audiobook.

This book is full of practical, concrete steps

First found Chloe on Instagram and found her videos to be really helpful. Decided to get this in audiobook format and what a great decision! Loving this book so far - have been listening to it on morning runs and it's the first anxiety book I've bought that really hones in on the specific type of anxiety women experience. It's such a great way to start the day. The experiences are SO relatable that you feel like she's speaking directly to you, and she has such a pleasant, calming voice to boot.

The relevancy of the situations and experiences she discusses make the content that much more impactful and likely to stick with you. I had a good chuckle yesterday when I was running at the beach while listening to her talk about the importance of saying no to things, when I was accosted by a tourist holding a bouquet and asking me to take her picture. I obliged, even though it was a hassle and turned into a weird photoshoot of her frolicking in the waves and picking up seaweed. Normally, I would just go about my day lamenting how awkward situations always seem to find me. This time, I resumed her book and picked up listening to this section about saying no to things we don't want to do. Instead, I had a sort of "Aha moment", realizing I kind of just let that whole weird situation unfold because I hate saying no and feeling like I'm hurting someone's feelings. Had another moment of clarity this morning when she was talking about different things to say instead of "sorry", which is unfortunately a default word I'm always using.

This book is full of practical, concrete steps you can start taking to address the very specific anxieties we experience as females. Some of it certainly feels scary at first, but Chloe always seems to frame it in a reassuring, manageable way - providing various solutions for you to choose from. For this anxious lady brain, it's exactly what I needed in my life right now!
