"What are you wearing under this dress?" he asked, his mouth brushing hers, the words whisper-soft.
Not what she expected him to say. "E-excuse me?"
His teeth sank into her lower lip, making her yelp. "Focus."

I am loving this series!
Ok I know this is just book 1 in the series, but I am loving this series so far! Astasia is a likeable character and Issac, wow. LOL Its interesting to hear how his emotions are deepening, how stas went from a pawn to someone he loves, even if he doesn't realize he's in love yet. I cant wait to see what happens next!

Kale Williams and Sarah Puckett are perfection in their narration.
This story is riveting, dark, intense, Secrets, betrayal, a secret society, warring angels and demons.

Intriguing spin!
I have really enjoyed this audio! It is a fabulous spin on the PNR world of immortal creatures, bringing both humanity and callous cruelty to bear on a well constructed story. I'll the charactersxare well drawn and interesting and the particular focus on Stadi and Usaac us made richer by their interactions with the wider cast. Both Sarah Puckett and Kale Williams are excellent. They are expressive and well nuanced bringing believability to their characterisations. Mind you there are a couple of occasions when Kale's English accent is a bit too upper crust, but I am just a picky English brat 💖💖💖💖💖

Wow
This is one of the longer paranormal romances that I have listened to, but included so much detail. I loved knowing more about astasia’s parents and past then she did. It was a fun tidbit of information that I am not sure I have ever had with a book before. Having more knowledge about the MCs past then anyone else in the book because of the flash backs.
The world building and character development that went into this book is amazing and I love, love, loved the narrators!
I have read the blurb for book 2 and I am super excited to read it! I hope that we still get more info on stass even though Amelia and Tom will be the focus of the next one.

Interesting Vampire Romance
I liked this authors take on a vampire story, it was different and interesting. It took me a little bit to warm up to both Stas and Isaac but I got there eventually. They had great chemistry together.
I'll definitely be continuing the series.
The narration was fantastic, my only complaint is the accents felt quite different between which threw me off. Kale Williams and Sarah Puckett did a great job and really brought the characters to life.

Hot new world
Stas is thrown into a world she didn't know existed (kinda). I love how we get thrown into it alongside her. She's always known that she has abilities that belong to the supernatural, but she's as clueless as us readers when it comes to the rest of it. Throw a hot, immortal billionaire into the mix, and I'm all in! I also love the narration by Sarah Puckett and Kale Williams - they make the audio version even better. ❤️

Love PNR!
I love a good PNR book and this one was really good I've listed to other books in this series and I have really enjoyed them all. I like the author's style of writing and world-building. I love the twist turns and betrayal it all keeps you guessing and making it so you have to finish the book because you have to know what going to happen next. Loved every minute, felt pulled into the story.
I already love this series, but getting to hear it on Audible brought the whole story to life. Kale Williams IS Issac, absolutely perfect casting. His tone, pacing, everything just captures exactly how I imagined it when reading the first time.
This is one of those series that you appreciate even more on rereads and repeat listenings. Little details that lead to bigger reveals in later books and callbacks to moments and mentions you thought were insignificant. Nothing in these books is an accident, the world is epic and detailed. It grows on itself every time.
Hearing all the characters 'voices' helped me understand their personalities on a deeper level. On a side note hearing the proper pronounciation of some of the names, was extremely helpful.
This was my first time with an audiobook and it was a great book to start with. I received an ARC for an honest review.
