My new favourite Bandit!
Black Velvet is the seventh Black's Bandits story and another great addition to this fabulous series. Dax and Robbie's romance is steamy, action packed, and suspenseful. Dax might just be my new favourite Bandit! Zachary and Stephanie really embodied the characters and brought them to life.

The bestselling author and the bodyguard
Roberta Sharpe is a bestselling author and she is very good at writing about heroes. But in her private life there is no trace of a hero far and wide. Her husband has left her to marry a younger woman, her last book was not so enthusiastically received by fans, and then someone breaks into her house.
And suddenly Robbie has a bodyguard who is also incredibly hot. For Dax Freed, it's a job like any other at first and he wasn't particularly eager for the job either.
For me, it was the author's first book and I was captivated from the start. The story is entertaining, action packed, sexy and exciting. Who is behind the deeds? The events soon start to come to a head.
I really liked both Robbie and Dax and found them both likeable. The chemistry between the two sparked strongly from the beginning. And Robbie's love of pets was very sweet.
I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.
The audiobook was narrated by Zachary Webber and Samantha Nemis-Parker. Zachary Webber is amazing and he did a great job. I really liked his voice and intonations and he was a pleasure to listen to. Samantha Nemis-Parker is a new female narrator for me and she did a wonderful job as well.
