Alex has got to be my favourite Character in the Safe Haven Universe.
Christopher is a brilliant Author, I love his books and so well narrated by Kim Bretton.

Great starter book for the Safe Haven series (although there are others you can start with) It provides a great background story as to how the apocalypse kicked off where the family lived and the dynamics of how the family members integrated. The whole series will have you hooked from the start and I can guarantee you will end up buying all the books, including The End of Everything series that runs along side it!

I really loved this book, it was a fantastic insight into the tragic history of Alex, and his final days with his family as their world fell apart, and became a very different place. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the Safe Haven series, Kim's narration was outstanding as always. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
