I expected this book to be all about one liners and being a comedian. Well I am happy to say that I was so wrong. Yes, there were a few one liners, and an interesting story of how he became a comic. The rest was about life, living, and how to succeed, what a surprise. If you don't read this you might make it, but if you do read it you have a far better chance of making it. Everyone should read this brilliant uplifting book. Well done Jimmy Carr, and thank you.

Prior to listening to this book I wasn’t really a Jimmy Carr fan. I’d never seen him live and my knowledge of him was limited to having seen the odd mediocre TV show and heard about the tax avoidance scandal. Boy I was missing out.
He’s very very smart. This book is a superbly articulate ( yep he’s dyslexic), carefully observed, frank, no BS , “get off your backside and stop moaning” type of self help book. No sugar coating, no mantras, no yoga, just plain good advice.
Funny, wise, self deprecating .. well worth spending an Audible credit on. …
No idea if you’ll see this Jimmy, but Skyros, 5 rhythms, .. been there. Done that. Heard you went. Thought it was a myth!

This was a great, light hearted audiobook. Easy to listen to and comes with some good straight forward ideas - presented in Jimmy’s usual funny way! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
