Loved it
I wasn't expecting this to be as insightful as it was, just to be clear i wasn't expecting it to be rubbish I don't know maybe it was just me but i feel like i really connected with the point he makes in this book. Most of which came out of the blue and i found myself driving a different way home to listen to more. The only negative is that 6 hours is just abit too short really i'd have liked some more however not that Mr Carr will ever read this but if he does all i can say is i found this very satisfying (like your mum) and i highly recommend this book to anyone as it is as the title says "a life-changing book"

The most engaging self help book
This is a refreshing self help book. The advice is similar to all self help books (all self help books are) but its very succint and it's told in an entertaining/relateable way.

Brilliant, listen to this is great.
I loved this book. I wasn't sure he would be my cup of tea to be honest but he was great! Beautifully written with great insight into life.
you don't need my praise Jimmy, but you have it anyway bloody well done! when's the next one coming out?

The only self help book you need.
Jimmy is an amazing talent and this book proves it. it's well written and performed, the structure is fantastic and time will just zip past. It's surprisingly inspirational too, well in-between all the your mom jokes...

Life changing
Not only can this book change your life, it came at a time I needed it most. Would definitely recommend it. Once I started, I couldn't stop.

Tough love done funny
I have sampled dozens of "help" books over the years. This one dispenses with the fluff and gets right to it. if you listen to one "help" book this year, make it this one.

Fantastic book!
Just finished the book and loved it. If you’re a fan of Jimmy Carr, it’s a must read. Skilfully weaves together an autobiography, constant jokes and a self help book. Many useful insights that many will find useful.
