The combination of Shawn Inmon, Johnathan McClain and the fictional Alex Hawk makes for a wonderful listen. Firstly let me say how much I appreciate Johnathan McClain's skills, his voice acting is a real pleasure to listen to. One of the very best in the business. This was a thoroughly enjoyable listen, another great story with twists and turns, and very moving. Shawn has tremendous writing skill in putting you within the story without being over descriptive, whilst images explode in your mind......very nicely done Shawn. If you've enjoyed the other 8 Alex Hawk books, then this one is a no brainer. A thoroughly enjoyable listen.

absolutely love these world, so many lovable characters, sad that this is the last book but I understand that a writer eventually has to move on. I submerged myself into this world and vividly could see the characters faces and manorism thanks to the authors ability to describe them so well, a true epic story telling I've became a big fan and looking forward to listen to other adventures

I picked up this book off the back of a different series and author. I was curious as to how the story would pan out. The resulting journey of Alex took me through his various adventures book by book. As I came to the end I wanted more of the same. The character’s endearing and storylines so well written I became glue to each story. Now at the end of book 9 I realise the series has come to a natural end. Sad though it is this series fave me an adventure I will remember. If asked should I get this I would heartily recommend it but beware you’ll need to fasten your seatbelts as the ride is one you wont forget!
