Trapped in a Rift and everyone thinks he’s dead…

After freeing himself from the clutches of two treacherous Academy Instructors, Jeremy is stuck in a Rift with no way to easily escape. However, what he does have is an opportunity to improve himself by dispersing the energy inside the Cores within the Rift, finally applying permanent increases to his Abilities; he might even have the opportunity to permanently unlock the Fire Affinity, adding to his growing collection.

Unfortunately, the massive sleeping dragon inside the Rift is aware of Jeremy and has a particular dislike of his mere presence. If he makes one wrong move, he is at risk of annoying the powerful Rift Overseer and being completely and utterly obliterated–and there would be nothing he could do to stop it from happening.

Can Jeremy survive the dangers that the Rift presents while taking advantage of his unique position? Or will he discover that the world outside is somehow even more dangerous than a Level 300 dragon that could destroy an entire empire as easily as breathing?

Regardless of the obstacles in his way, the up-and-coming collector is sure to add even more powerful Affinities to his collection.
