NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) came into operation on October 1, 1958. After a two year public auction, NASA was sold to EPIC Incorporated, a commercial entity in 2028. The move from a government-funded organisation to a public incorporated company did not go well. It took over 3 years of multiple re-organisations and redundancies to absorb NASA into EPIC. Today, EPIC’s management is financially fuelled on exploring new worlds for the net gain of commodities.
