So delighted to listen to a LITRPG author who avoids wandering into romance unfettered violence on an epic scale is why I listen to these books.

I found this a very intriguing book, the spells and ritual were fun and interesting. The characters developed well and had some nice twists. Here for some more can't wait

4 books in and they are still just as good. Better if anything. RinoZ has a gift for writing. Might even force myself to listen to the series he has with multiple readers (can't stand multiple readers personally, books are not audio-plays, they write different for those).

But this is just sublime. It's entertaining, its fun, it's morally ambiguous and not a black and white hero story for children or some super edgy "AND THEN I WAS TORTURED IN A TIME-LOCK FOR TEN-THOUSAND YEARS BUT IT WAS ONLY A MINUTE TO YOU but I emerged unchanged but cooler and edgier" like so many LitRPG's.

Damn good to see this entertaining genre growing up a bit so those of us beyond their teens can enjoy them as well.

I am really looking forward to seeing what else this author will write in the coming years.
