Debt-serf. Scavenger. Nobody worth remembering.
In Alnda, that’s all Alaric was ever supposed to be. Something others had planned for him.
But with CD, Elli, Seo Rin, and Yesabel at his side, Alaric’s building mechs, making allies, and carving a future society never wanted him to have.
Yet the world isn’t done trying to break him. Raiders strike the city. Gangster lords demand the impossible. And Boyerman tempts him with freedom for a hellish price.
Alaric goes all in, ready to gamble not only just his own future, but that of everyone he cares about and loves for a chance to be free.
Because in a land where power decides who stands and who kneels, he’s done living on his knees.

At the start we get a sarcastic summary of what transpired in the first book by CD (the protagonist's charming and humble AI, love this character) and then we are off to continue the adventure with our hero Alaric and his three female companions.
Like in the first book the Narrators did an awesome job in bringing the story to life.
After finishing the second book, i'm really looking forward to the next book in the series now and hope i don't have to wait too long for it.
Successful Sequel
