My first holiday with my husband's friends. A remote Scottish manor. Nine sacred dolls. One brutal murder.

But no one listened. Even Dhruv — my husband — told me to stop being silly.

I know they're hiding something. I can't trust any of them — not even the man I married.

Now one of us is dead. One of us is a killer. Am I going to make it out of here alive?

Honestly I've no clue who's who, how many people there are, or really what's going on. However, I feel like the story could be good if it was a bit easier to follow. That said, it was pleasant to listen too and I liked the idea with the dolls.

Completely lost

Plot twists easy to guess. Narration quite slow for most characters. Had to turn up the speed. Unnecessary characters who never speak.

Too long, repetitive, and unbelievable. Didn't warm to any of the characters which, I believe, alienates the reader. Vengeful.and unpleasant story line.

The background to the story was interesting- not the story.
