I've recently listened to Jefferson's podcast and enjoyed it enough to buy this book. He has a likeable persona and the listening isn't compromised by him narrating. It's packed with common sense tips on which words to use for effective communication - and which not to. The same goes for phrases.
It also deals with some aspects of mental health eg maintaining your sanity when dealing with narcissists.
Highly recommended.
